WALK IN THE SPIRIT

By Pastor Ayo-Simeon Agbelusi

Beloved, I have a special prayer for you today and I declare, May the Holy Spirit guide your steps, strengthen your heart, and fill you with His peace throughout this new week. You will walk in His power, and your life will continually bear fruit for the glory of God.

Kindly note today, many struggles become lighter when we stop relying on our own strength and begin depending on God’s Spirit.

“This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.” — Galatians 5:16 (KJV)

Your life as a child of God is not meant to be lived by your strength alone. From the day you receive Christ, the Holy Spirit comes to dwell within you, empowering you to live a life that pleases God. Victory over sin, growth in holiness, and effectiveness in ministry are all the result of walking daily with the Holy Spirit.

To walk in the Spirit means to surrender every area of your life to His leadership. It means listening to His promptings, obeying God’s Word, and depending on His strength rather than your own abilities. The Holy Spirit not only convicts us when we stray but also comforts, teaches, and empowers us to become more like Christ.

As you consistently yield to Him, the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance—begins to flourish in your life. These are not merely qualities to admire but evidence of a life transformed by God’s grace.

Today, invite the Holy Spirit to lead every conversation, every decision, and every step you take. A life led by the Spirit is a life marked by victory, wisdom, and lasting fruitfulness.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit. Help me to walk in step with Him each day. Teach me to obey Your voice, resist every temptation, and produce the fruit that glorifies You. Let my life reflect the character of Christ in all I do. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
