DON’T BE RESISTED BY THE LORD

Beloved, please note today, one thing that can easily cause anyone to be resisted by the Lord is pride. Remember the word of God declares:
“But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.” — James 4:6 KJV
This scripture points us to Humility as one of the beautiful virtues that distinguish genuine followers of Jesus Christ. It is the willingness to acknowledge God’s supremacy and recognize that everything we have comes from Him.
Beloved, never allow your achievements, positions, or possessions to make you feel superior to others. Pride creates unnecessary barriers between anyone and God, but humility prepares our hearts to receive divine grace and correction from Him.
True greatness is not demonstrated by how highly you exalt yourself but by how faithfully you submit to God and serve others. If you don’t want to be resisted by the Lord, keep walking humbly before the Lord your God and He will continue to elevate you in life and ministry.
Prayer: Father, deliver me from every spirit of pride and self-exaltation. Clothe me with humility and help me walk continually in Your grace, favor and divine blessings in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
