LET YOUR WORDS GIVE LIFE
By Pastor Ayo-Simeon Agbelusi
The Psalmist says: Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer. Psalm 19:14 KJV
Your words have the capacity to encourage, strengthen, and inspire others. They can also wound hearts and destroy relationships when spoken carelessly. The Lord lives in you and wants to manifest himself through you therefore, you words and pronouncements can’t be different from the Lord’s.
As a believer in Christ Jesus, let your conversations reflect His love and wisdom. Refuse gossip, unnecessary criticism, and words that discourage others.
Before you speak, consider whether your words will build someone up or tear them down.
Be intentional about speaking peace, hope, and encouragement today. Someone may find the strength to keep moving forward because of the words God puts in your mouth.
Prayer: Father, let the words of my mouth and my meditations be acceptable in your sight. Deliver me from vain speeches and make me a blessing always. In Jesus name.
