DEVELOP A LISTENING HEART

One of the greatest disciplines of spiritual growth is learning to listen to God. We often come before Him with many requests, yet God also desires our attention.
Samuel said:
“Speak, LORD; for thy servant heareth.” — 1 Samuel 3:9 KJV
Samuel’s life changed when he learned to recognize and respond to God’s voice. Make room for God through His Word, prayer, and quiet fellowship. Don’t allow the noise of life to drown out divine instruction. A heart that listens to God will receive direction that prevents unnecessary mistakes.
You don’t have to plunge yourself into another level mistakes again but learn to stay in God’s presence and through His word and prayers begin to decode what the Spirit of the Lord is saying over your situations and conditions. The devil brings noises and distractions but the Lord is waiting to give you that good news that will transform your journeys into glory. It will happen this season in Jesus’ name.
Prayer: Father, give me a listening heart. Help me to recognize Your voice, understand Your Word, and respond quickly to Your instructions. Lead me continually in the path of Your perfect will, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
