DON’T LET DISTRACTIONS DETERMINE YOUR DIRECTION

Beloved, you’ll remember the Bible says in Hebrews 12:2, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. It’s clearly encouraging us to look away from everything called distraction.
Not everything and everyone demanding your attention deserves it. Some people, battles, opinions, comparisons, worries and offenses are nothing but great distractions.
Apostle Paul declared in Philippians 3:14, “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”
There is a mark before you. Keep pressing toward it. Stop measuring your journey by someone else’s progress. Stop allowing yesterday’s disappointment to steal today’s strength. Stop replaying conversations that God wants you to release. Stop giving unnecessary attention to things that are not helping you become more like Christ.
Your energy is valuable. Your time is valuable. Your spiritual focus is valuable. Guard them carefully.
You may not be able to remove every distraction around you, but you can refuse to allow distractions to redirect your destiny.
Today’s Declaration: I declare that my eyes are fixed upon Jesus Christ, the Author and Finisher of my faith. I will not be distracted, discouraged, or diverted from God’s purpose for my life. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
