NEVER LOSE YOUR HUNGER
By Pastor Ayo-Simeon Agbelusi
From Matthew 5:6, Jesus said: “Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.”
The moment a person loses hunger for growth and development in any area of life, progress begins to decline.
This same principle applies to us spiritually. If you want greater faith, greater wisdom, greater impact, and greater victories, you must maintain a strong desire for God and His purpose for your life.
The word of the Lord through Prophet Jeremiah 29:13 says:
“And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”
Don’t settle where you are. Don’t become comfortable with yesterday’s victories. Don’t stop growing. This is not your final destination. You have glorious potential that must be unlocked through desire and unwavering determination. Today may not look like it but I assure you under God that your tomorrow will be exceedingly great.
Keep seeking the truth that guarantees all round victory and don’t ever stop learning. You must also keep your prayer altar on fire and continue to receive divine communication from the Lord. The more you pursue after God and righteousness, the better you’ll become here on earth.
Remember: Your next level is connected to your present hunger.
Declaration: I refuse spiritual complacency. My heart will continually hunger for God and His righteousness. I shall grow in grace, increase in wisdom, and walk in deeper fellowship with the Lord. As I seek Him, I shall find Him, and my life shall continually reflect His glory in Jesus’ name. Amen.
