PROGRESSING TOWARD MATURITY AND FULFILLMENT
By Pastor Ayo-Simeon Agbelusi
It’s God’s desire that you grow continually and in spiritual stature so you won’t miss out of His divine benevolence. Growth is not always obvious, but it is always valuable. This should constitute your daily pursuit and prayers.
Many people become frustrated because they compare their progress with others. However, God’s plan for your life is unique. Your responsibility is not to compete with others but to continue growing from where you are today.
Remember Philippians 3:13-14 says:
“Forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”
Do not allow yesterday’s failures to discourage you or yesterday’s successes to make you complacent. Keep pressing forward. Keep learning. Keep trusting God. Keep becoming all that He has called you to be.
Every step of growth matters. Every victory over temptation matters. Every moment spent in God’s presence matters. Small daily improvements produce extraordinary results over time.
Today’s Declaration: I am growing in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. I refuse stagnation and spiritual complacency. By the help of the Holy Spirit, I am becoming stronger in faith, wiser in understanding, and more fruitful in service. My life shall continually bring glory to God in Jesus’ name. Amen.
