THE LORD IS YOUR KEEPER
By Pastor Ayo-Simeon Agbelusi
I love to remember that my God is always in charge and as He has promised, He’s going to continue to take good care of me and all that are mine. So shall it be for you always in Jesus name.
The Bible declares: “The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.” Psalms 121:7–8
This passage reminds you that the Lord is your keeper—your protector, your preserver, and your constant source of security. His care is not occasional; it is continual. From your “going out” to your “coming in,” every part of your day is covered by His watchful presence. You don’t need to live in fear not be anxious at any level. Your God is in charge.
“The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil” does not mean you will never face difficulty, but it assures you that nothing can ultimately harm your soul or separate you from His care. God is actively guarding your life in ways you may not always see or recognize.
There is comfort in knowing that you do not have to control every outcome or anticipate every challenge. God’s protection is not dependent on your awareness—it is rooted in His faithfulness. Even when you are unaware, He is attentive. Even when you feel vulnerable, He is present.
Today, move through your day with quiet confidence. Whether in moments of activity or rest, trust that the Lord is watching over you, preserving you, and holding your life securely in His hands.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for Your constant care over my life. When I feel uncertain, remind me that You are preserving me in every moment. Teach me to walk in peace, knowing that I am always held by You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
