GOD’S PRESENCE WILL GO WITH YOU

By Pastor Ayo-Simeon Agbelusi

The journey of life is a great one and loaded with so much to experience and explore. Some favorable while others are not. The mountains are there, the hills and the valleys. It’s too great for anyone to be alone. You can’t afford to go alone. You need the total support of your Father and God – The Almighty.

It’s recorded in the Bible concerning Moses.

“And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.” — Exodus 33:14 (KJV)

In this passage, God speaks directly to Moses, offering not just guidance, but something far greater—His presence. God did not promise Moses a trouble-free journey, but He assured him that he would not walk it alone. His presence would go with him every step of the way.

That same promise extends to you today. God’s presence is not limited to certain places or seasons. He goes with you into every situation—into your decisions, your responsibilities, your challenges, and even your uncertainties.

There is a deep sense of rest that comes from knowing you are not navigating life on your own. God’s presence brings peace in the middle of pressure, clarity in the middle of confusion, and strength in the middle of difficulty.

Often, we ask God to show us the full plan before we move forward. But God’s greater promise is not to reveal everything ahead—it is to be with us as we go. His presence is what makes the difference.

Today, whatever you are facing, take comfort in this truth: you do not have to figure everything out on your own. God is with you, and His presence will guide you, sustain you, and give you rest along the way.

Prayer: Father, thank You for the promise of Your presence in my life. When I face uncertainty, help me to trust that You are with me and guiding me. Fill my heart with Your peace and give me rest as I rely on You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
