PREPARE FOR LIFE AFTER NOW

One of the greatest blessings of identifying with Jesus and obeying His Word is the assurance of life beyond this present world. We are not called to live carelessly on earth, but to live with purpose—continually preparing ourselves to see the Lord in glory. This world is not our final home, and no matter how much a person pursues earthly things, human desires can never truly be satisfied.
Apostle Paul reminds us in 1 Corinthians 15:19:
“If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.”
We must never accept this temporary world as our permanent resting place. True rest lies in the bosom of the Lord, and it is reserved for those who, through faith, walk diligently with Him in obedience to His Word.
The counsel of the Lord and His commandments are not burdensome; rather, they are guides that lead us into eternal life. Do not use the few years given to you on earth to jeopardize the glorious home God has prepared for you. Stand boldly for Christ. Declare your allegiance to Him. Separate yourself from sinful practices and avoid the entanglements of the world.
Now is the time to strengthen your walk with God and live with the hope of eternity. Prepare your heart daily, for there is truly life after now.
Prayer: Father, keep my heart in Your love. Let me not become attached to the passing things of this world. Help me to walk faithfully with You every day until I see You in glory. Amen.
