EXCEPT YOU ABIDE IN HIM

As humans, we often have the tendency to behave as though we are the author and finisher of our own lives. Many of our decisions and choices reveal how little we sometimes understand the Godhead and His divine arrangements. If God has spoken, it is absolute futility to judge, contradict, or ignore His counsel and mandates.
Jesus declared: Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. John 15:4 KJV
In this scriptural focus, the Lord clearly teaches us that we cannot succeed in life outside of His power and authorization. No man truly prospers by self-effort alone. This is why we must never stop running to God and deliberately choosing to abide under the shadow of His wings all the days of our lives.
Beloved, have you carefully examined your choices and directions in life? Are your steps aligned with God’s ordinances and His divine portion for you? It is never too late to yield your heart fully to the Lord. When you trust Him with everything, He remains ever ready to cause all things to work together for your good.
Prayer: Father, I do not want to run in vain. Guide me by Your wisdom and divine principles for success and prosperity on the earth. Speak to me daily and grant me the grace to obey Your counsel, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
