DON’T START WITHOUT DIVINE INVOLVEMENT

By Pastor Ayo-Simeon Agbelus

The Bible declares: “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” Genesis 1:1 (KJV)

Life was never designed to be lived independently of God. From the very first verse of the Bible, the Lord establishes a timeless principle: nothing should begin without divine involvement. Before light appeared, before order was restored, before beauty emerged, God was present and actively involved.

Beloved, many struggles in life are not caused by lack of effort but by lack of divine participation. When people start projects, relationships, journeys, or decisions without God, they often encounter unnecessary delays, confusion, and frustration. Divine involvement is the difference between laboring in vain and building with lasting impact.

God does not only desire to bless what you start; He wants to start it with you. When God is involved at the beginning, He sustains the process and guarantees a glorious outcome. If you have already begun something without God, it is not too late—invite Him in today. Where God steps in, disorder gives way to direction, and weakness is exchanged for strength.

As you move forward in life, let this be your guiding conviction: never start without divine involvement.

Prayer: Father, I repent of every step I have taken without Your counsel and presence. I invite You into the beginning of every plan, decision, and journey in my life. Take the lead, establish Your will, and order my steps according to Your purpose. I declare that my life will not run ahead of You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
