DON’T GIVE UP TRYING AGAIN

By Pastor Ayo-Simeon Agbelusi

There comes a time in life when the soul becomes weary, the heart feels overwhelmed, and the mind quietly whispers, “I’m tired of trying again.” Beloved, I understand that season—those moments when your strength fails and your hands hang down. But I bring you a word from the Lord today: your story is not over, and your strength is not finished. God has not brought you this far to abandon you at the edge of your breakthrough.

The Bible declares:

“For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again…”

Proverbs 24:16 KJV

Your falling is not the end; your rising is already written in God’s script for your life. What you call “trying again” is what God calls training, strengthening, process, and building you for the glory ahead. The enemy wants you to give up, but God is using all these attempts to shape your testimony.

Hear the promise of God:

“He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might He increaseth strength.”

Isaiah 40:29 KJV

You may feel empty, but God is ready to fill you again.

You may feel tired, but God is ready to empower you again.

You may feel defeated, but God is ready to lift you again.

Beloved, the fact that you are still standing, still breathing, still hoping—even in weakness—is the evidence that your victory is near. Don’t let weariness define your destiny. Don’t let temporary setbacks silence the greatness God has placed within you. Every new attempt is a step away from where you used to be and a step closer to where God is taking you.

Your life is not behind you—your life is still unfolding.

Your purpose is not cancelled—your purpose is being refined.

Your future is not lost—your future is hidden in Christ.

Take this as your healing today:

God is not asking you to try again in your strength; He is inviting you to rise again in His strength. When you surrender your tiredness to Him, He releases fresh grace upon your journey.

Prayer: Father, renew my strength. Lift me from the ashes of discouragement. Heal my tired heart and empower me to rise again in Your might. Amen.
