PRESENCE NOT JUST PRESENTS

The world is going through difficult seasons, and many people are quietly battling loneliness, pressure, and emotional pain. Gifts and presents are wonderful, but they can never replace the power of your presence. Sometimes what people need most is not what you bring in your hands, but what you bring with your heart.
The Bible says: “Whoever sings songs to a heavy heart is like one who takes off a garment on a cold day…” – Proverbs 25:20 ESV
There are moments when cheerful words are not enough. What truly helps is a listening ear, a warm presence, and a willing heart. When you sit with someone, encourage them, help with simple chores, or allow them to speak freely, you are fulfilling the law of Christ. You are called to be a burden bearer—someone who stands with others in love.
Make time today to show up for someone. Your presence may be the comfort they desperately need.
Prayer: Father, please help me to be a blessing and a burden bearer to those in critical need around me. Amen.
