THE GENUINENESS OF YOUR LOVE

By Pastor Ayo-Simeon Agbelusi

One of the greatest and most reliable tests of love is time. If every word of affection spoken to you is subjected to the passing of time and the changing of seasons, its truth will naturally be revealed. The Holy Spirit is the revealer of all truth, and when you walk closely with Him, He grants you discernment of spirits, so you are not deceived by empty promises or flattering lips. Many proclaim love with their mouths, but only God sees and judges the heart.

Our Lord Jesus gave this divine instruction to all who desire to walk faithfully with God:

“And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.”

— Mark 12:30 KJV

Nothing within you is hidden from the Almighty. He responds to the sincerity of your heart and searches the inward parts of the belly. If you want God’s attention, intervention, and abiding presence, your heart must be pure, your hands clean, and your love for Him completely genuine. You cannot fake love before the God who sees all things. But when He finds truth within you, He remains committed to lifting, guiding, and blessing you.

Let your entire being — spirit, soul, and body — align with the love of God. Let everything within you respond to Him in sincerity. This is the pathway to enjoying supernatural manifestations of God on the earth.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for loving me wholeheartedly. Please take over every part of my life. Let my entire being respond to Your love, and grant me the grace never to depart from Your presence and affection. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

  1. A genuine love for God is demonstrated through actions, such as obedience to His commands, a hatred of evil and love of good, and a desire for His presence and return. It is a love that is active and perseveres through trials, not one that is merely verbal or emotional.
God is who He said He is; and He does what He says He’ll do. In other words, God is not a hypocrite.
Thanks pastor Ayo, more grace and anointing in Jesus name, i really appreciate encouragement and support, God bless you.
