DON’T REJECT DISCIPLINE

By Pastor Ayo-Simeon Agbelusi

The Lord lovingly corrects those who belong to Him. Scripture makes it clear that if we live without discipline, we are not truly sons and daughters of the Most High. Divine correction is not punishment—it is one of God’s most powerful channels for your growth, prosperity, and advancement on the earth. You cannot continue in old errors and expect new dimensions of grace and glory. Discipline is the bridge between where you are and where God wants to take you.

The Bible says:

“Blessed is the one you discipline, LORD, the one you teach from your law.” Psalm 94:12 (NIV)

To rise into greater levels of fellowship and greatness with God, you must embrace His teachings and yield to His Word. Discipline is never pleasant in the moment, but it produces undeniable blessings in the lives of those who endure it. A life without correction is a life headed nowhere great. Those who are full of themselves can never be full of God’s blessings.

There is so much to gain when you submit to the Lordship of Jesus and yield your spirit to His instructions. Never despise the chastening of the Lord—it is your ticket into a world of excellent greatness.

Prayer:

Father, help me. Deliver me from pride and keep me from being full of myself. I receive grace to submit to Your instructions and correction so I will not miss Your plans and purposes for my life. Amen.
