CELEBRATE ANSWERED PRAYERS

By Pastor Ayo-Simeon Agbelusi

We pray often, crying and pouring out our hearts, laying down our burdens, and presenting countless petitions before God. Prayer is our lifeline, and it pleases the Lord when we seek Him diligently. But while we are quick to ask, we must also be quick to celebrate and appreciate the prayers He has already answered.

“Help me escape this trap, so that I can praise your name. Then good people will celebrate with me, because you took care of me.”

— Psalm 142:7 (ERV)

If you must cry, let your cry go to God—the only One who truly hears and responds. Hoping in man is vanity, but trusting God always brings results. Yet, when God answers, do you remember your vow of gratitude? Do you return like the one leper to say, “Thank You, Lord”?

David was a man of battles, yet he remained a man of praise. His secret was gratitude. He never failed to sing, dance, and celebrate the glory of God before all. That is why he rose above the traps of his enemies and walked in continuous victory.

You too can walk in this grace. Choose today to be grateful. Celebrate the goodness of God openly. For gratitude is the seed that unlocks greater blessings.

Prayer: Father, I am grateful. I will continue to celebrate and rejoice in You, for You have done me well with countless answers to prayers. You are a great God. Amen.
