RAISED BY GRACE
By Pastor Ayo-Simeon Agbelusi
Few people grasp the concept of God’s grace and favor. It is essential to acknowledge that divine intervention is not always a direct result of human effort or labor. When God decides to help someone, He does so because of His almighty power and the illumination of His presence upon that individual.
And Joseph found grace in his sight, and he served him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand. Genesis 39:4 KJV
The account of Joseph demonstrates that God’s hand upon a person will always make a significant difference. He was sold into slavery, likely to suffer and die, but the Lord, through the operation of His grace and favor, promoted him even in a foreign land. Despite facing opposition, cruelty, and imprisonment, Joseph still rose to the top without struggling. Reading his account encourages us to draw closer to God and rely entirely on Him for our elevation on earth. Rather than striving to achieve greatness, we should ask that the Lord’s hand guide our destiny and processes.
Prayer: I decree and declare; Your life will experience a profound change, and the Lord, by His graciousness, will raise you to a position of triumph over your challenges and obstacles on your journey in Jesus’ name.
