LIVING GODLY AND FAITHFULLY

Embracing the new life in Christ Jesus provides a divine mandate and empowerment to live a godly and faithful life on earth. As bearers of special divine traits, we can no longer be associated with cruelty, wickedness, and evil behaviors. As children of God, we serve as representatives of God on earth, and the world expects to see Jesus personified in us.
In Ephesians 4:31-32, the Bible declares:
Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.
You are likely familiar with the notion that God desires for you to emulate Christ’s example in both word and deed. If we fail to distinguish ourselves from the sinful world, then we have yet to embark on the journey to eternal life with God. Should you identify traits within yourself that reflect worldly and dark influences, it is essential to return to God for the renewal of your life through the precious blood of the Lamb. As we approach God’s word with sincerity and engage in daily communion with the Holy Spirit through persistent prayer, the divine life becomes accessible to us. May you increasingly radiate the light of our God unstoppably in Jesus’ name.
Prayer: Father, purify me and make me clean for Your glory. May my actions, behavior and way of life truly reflect the redemptive power, love and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ to the current generation.
