The Patience of Faith

“Be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises” (Hebrews 6:12). Your time is in God’s hands, and He will make all things beautiful in His time.
Don’t rush from one place to another seeking success and victory. Instead, through faith and patience, obtain God’s promises. His words for your life are “yea and amen” (2 Corinthians 1:20), settled in heaven. Abraham’s story is a perfect example of faith and patience. He waited for God’s promise, and in due season, he obtained it (Hebrews 6:15). Don’t be hasty about your destiny, as this can lead to temptations and snares.
Focus on God’s promises, and your faith will grow. Don’t be distracted by flashy options; instead, hope in the Lord concerning your expected miracles. It will turn to a hope of glory in Jesus’ mighty name.
Prayer: Father, my faith looks up to You. Let me not be ashamed, and don’t let me stray away from Your promises through impatience. Help me trust Your timing and promises. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
