NOTHING WITHOUT FAITH

Our relationship with God yields benefits only when faith is applied. It is impossible to gain God’s approval and receive rewards from Him if we lack faith in His word or question His capacity and commitment to upholding His word and promises. It is remarkable how we often give credence to human deception, yet hesitate to trust the Almighty. Faith in God is never going to fail because He is truthful and eternally dependable.
For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. Hebrews 4:2 KJV
The word of God is steadfast, and His power is more than sufficient to heal and deliver. Throughout our journey with Him, many of us have struggled to accept the uncomplicated nature of His word. Until we combine the spoken and written word of God with faith, it remains ineffective. The blessed individual is not the hearer but the doer. People often find it hard to act on the Lord’s counsel because they question the potential of His words, leading them to act based on their carnal understanding and sensory experiences. When you act in accordance with the Lord’s commands, your faith becomes evident. Given God’s proven track record, there is no justification for fear or doubt; instead, commitment to God ensures triumph over life’s challenges.
Let’s Pray: Father, I confidently assert my belief in your word and pledge to continually act on your counsel. Take away all fear from my being and grant me the ability to focus on trusting you each day in Jesus mighty name.
