THE ESSENCE OF YOUR LIGHT

To be designated as the light is a name of great significance. In Matthew 5:14, Jesus affirmed, “You are the light of the world. A city positioned on a hill cannot be concealed.” This description fittingly portrays every child of God. We are not merely ordinary citizens of the Kingdom of God, but rather the solutions to the reign of darkness and demonic manipulations that define this era. You are the light and must never refuse to shine.

“No one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a vessel or puts it under a bed, but sets it on a lampstand, that those who enter may see the light. Luke 8:16 NKJV

The word of God has illuminated your life, and, consequently, you are expected to illuminate other lives within your generation. Your primary purpose during this stage of your calling and election of grace is to shine forth, thereby silencing darkness and unrighteousness. No darkness should boast over your presence and existence as a child of God. You have been empowered to radiate grace and glory. I am aware that many individuals are ashamed of the gospel of Christ, but it is imperative that you do not succumb to such feelings, given the divine light that has been bestowed upon you by the Almighty. As God resides within you, He expects you to intentionally exemplify His love to the nations surrounding you through your verbal expressions, faith, actions, and kingdom-inspired lifestyle. As the Lord has ordained, your shining light will bring an end to the reign of darkness and unrighteousness in your family and this passing world. Your family, friends, colleagues, and community are in need of you at this moment. Do not hold back; allow God to demonstrate his love to countless souls through your tireless efforts to save this generation.

Let’s Pray: Father, give me the grace and courage to shine more for your own glory. Deliver me from everything that is holding me back in Jesus’ mighty name.
