THE FAITH AND TESTIMONY OF RAHAB

When we hear or read about Rahab, her occupation as a harlot is the initial point that comes to mind. Nevertheless, she showed remarkable faith by aiding and sparing the lives of the two spies sent by Joshua to Jericho. As a result, she and her entire family experienced salvation and deliverance, demonstrating that God can use anyone for His glory.
Rabab told the spies: And as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the LORD your God, he is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath. Joshua 2:11 KJV
She developed a strong faith in the God of Israel and was willing to lend support to the people of God. As a result of her actions and faith, the Lord redeemed her. Although she had a troubled and sinful past, she became a testament to faith in action and was listed in the genealogy of our Lord Jesus Christ. Release yourself from the guilt of your past and remain committed to the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has called you to a life of glory and virtue. You have tremendous potential to serve the Lord if you can forgive yourself and maintain steadfast faith in Jesus. Rehab’s experience has become a lasting testimony, and her unwavering faith in God will continue to guide souls toward the light.
Let’s Pray: Father, use me for Your divine purpose and eliminate every past error that may compromise my faith in You. Through Your grace, may I resist reverting to sinful habits and continue to be a source of blessing to all in Jesus’ mighty name.
