GRATEFUL FOR OUR GOD IS FAITHFUL

Through it all, our God remains faithful and committed to the covenant of his grace. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 says the will of God concerning you is thanksgiving over everything. There’s no better spiritual exercise than thanksgiving.  Thanksgiving is a clear evidence that you understand that God is the one working in you both to will and to do His good pleasure. Beloved, if it has not been the Lord, what are we going to put forth as testimonies in a time like this. Our God remains a faithful Father all through the seasons. In the hard and smooth times, in the mountain and in the valley time, He’s always there to say, Fear not for I am with you.

I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. Psalm 34:4 KJV

In the midst of the chaos and turbulence of each passing year, we can evidently say that God alone is worthy to be glorified. Through the trials and temptations, He made a way of escape and didn’t allow the waters of life to swallow you up. The lines are therefore fallen unto us in pleasant places and we have a goodly heritage. It’s a good thing to trust in the Lord and to be closely associated with his holy name. There’s no want to them that trust in Him. You can’t afford to serve any other god. This God is our God and for ever and ever, He’ll be our guide even unto the end. He’ll always step in to rescue and give you a testimony of a lifetime. No matter how it feels, I want you to return to Him with a grateful heart and say Father, through it all, I have learnt to trust in the power of your love and in your faithfulness.

Reflections: Count your blessings and You’ll be so surprised how faithful God has been to you. This is the beginning of greater things, be strong in faith and follow God to the very end. You will never be put to shame in Jesus’ name.
