THE CHOSEN GENERATION

I will continually ponder on and rejoice in God’s special calling upon all true followers of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible refers to us as the chosen generation and a peculiar people, for we have been called out of darkness to be the shining light in this crooked and perverse generation.

1 Peter 2:9 KJV

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

Dearly beloved, you are an extraordinary ambassador of God’s kingdom, endowed with a purpose that transcends the ordinary. Your name serves as a testament to a divine calling, beckoning you to fulfill a global mandate of promoting kingdom values and purpose-driven living. As a representative of God’s grace, you are commissioned to demonstrate the transformative power of His wonderful works. Your lifestyle and behavior must epitomize the values of your heavenly source, serving as a beacon of hope in a world plagued by unrighteousness. As chosen vessels of the Lord, I implore you to accept this divine calling and become instrumental in advancing God’s agenda for this generation and beyond.

Let us offer a prayer: Heavenly Father, you have chosen me to fulfill kingdom purposes. Motivate my heart and hands to serve you, and may I be a solution to the problems facing my generation, in Jesus’ name.
