NO LITTLE LIES

In James 3:2, the Bible declares: For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body. One of your parts you need to put in check is your tongue. You shouldn’t allow your mouth to lead you astray nor make you go against the love of God for your life. Many have chosen to apply the operations of what they call ‘little lies’ to cover up their flaws and to keep their records straight before men.
Any kind of dishonesty originates from the heart and is eventually expressed in our speech. If you are telling little lies, work on changing your heart. And in the meantime, keep your mouth shut when you are tempted to say something that just isn’t true. The heart of this matter is evidently the matter of the heart. If your heart is truly regenerated and made pure by the word of God, you will be far from fleshly manipulations and you will be absolutely graced to speak the truth only. God marks your words and will always judge the state of your heart. Be determined from today that you will speak no evil, no gossip and no little lies
Pray with me: Father, I surrender my tongue and the operations of my mouth to the Holy Spirit. Keep me from speaking guile but empower me to speak the truth always in Jesus name.
