SEEKING GOD’S MERCY?
By Pastor Ayo-Simeon Agbelusi
When you obtain the mercy of the Lord, you will be greatly helped and supported everywhere you go. I have concluded that mercy is that compassionate attention you receive from God each time you look unto Him. We can’t really go too far while struggling blindly and allowing fruitless human permutations to permeate our hearts and processes. We can only break records and scale utmost heights if God is on our side and if we have found grace in His sight.
Psalm 123:2 KJV
Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the LORD our God, until that he have mercy upon us.
In looking for help and sustenance, I encourage you to look no further but unto God and you will never be put to shame. Hebrews 12 encourages us to look unto Jesus who is the Author and Finisher of our faith. This signifies that He’s the beginning and the End of our plans and processes. Obviously, without Him, we can do nothing. Take your burdens to Him in prayers and connect with Him permanently through His word. The issues of life are innumerable but with God, nothing shall be impossible for those who truly believe. Take a step of faith today, examine your disappointments and pour all the issues to God for a change of story. I know you will never wait in vain and your testimonies will be great in Jesus name.
Pray with me: Father, I have no other help but you. As I look unto you, please have mercy on me and turn my story around for good. Make me victorious in the land of the living.
