DON’T DISQUALIFY YOURSELF
By Pastor Ayo-Simeon Agbelusi
You are whom the Lord has called you to be. You are original and not a duplicate of any man. In the creation template, God declares you good after processing you in His heavenly laboratory. He created you in His own image and instilled in you the breath of life. According to God’s word, hear me: you are a living soul, and all that concerns you shall flourish in Jesus name. You shall achieve success and be unstoppable in your life’s journey.
Exodus 4:10 KJV
And Moses said unto the LORD, O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue.
Moses senses that he is disadvantaged by a personal inadequacy, which he views as an absolute disqualification. He is “slow of speech and of a slow tongue”. He has always struggled with eloquence, and does not see himself as more eloquent since God has been interacting with him.
These self-limitations were imposed by Moses upon himself, yet God envisioned him as a deliverer and a savior. It’s possible that you are responsible for your own limitations due to the imperfections you perceive with your natural human eye and especially in your thoughts. God remains dedicated to working with you. Instead of dwelling on your inadequacies, focus on God, who is willing to grant you the grace to accomplish the impossible and become a blessing to multiple generations. Surrender to God and make yourself accessible. He will equip you with unique abilities and also direct your speech. You will express yourself appropriately and undoubtedly achieve great success in your destiny.
Pray with me: Father, I surrender myself to your will. Help me address my inadequacies and impart the grace necessary for me to be a vessel of honor, utilized for your purposes, in Jesus’ name.
