UNITED IN THE SAME MIND AND PURPOSE
By Pastor Ayo-Simeon Agbelusi
The body of Christ carries a huge weight of power, grace and glory that is more than sufficient to silence the roarings of the devil in this age and bring many sons and daughters unto glory but it’s a concern seeing how we have been greatly affected and if I may say stopped by the evil force called disunity. Disunity is a strong weapon in the hands of the enemy against the peace and progress of the church and you must carefully and consciously take action against it. If not stopped, it will continue to stop you and consequently stop us.
Apostle in his first letter to the Corinthians wrote:
I urge you, my brothers and sisters, for the sake of the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to agree to live in unity with one another and put to rest any division that attempts to tear you apart. Be restored as one united body living in perfect harmony. Form a consistent choreography among yourselves, having a common perspective with shared values. 1 Corinthians 1:10 TPT. Take a deep study of this passage in other versions to get a deeper understanding of the will and counsel of the Master on unity.
We have so much to do in this last age and if you are constantly engaging in evangelism, you will discover that this age is decaying vehemently. The church needs to do away with disunity and be prepared to wage war against the devil who is throwing all sorts of nonsense against the gospel. You must take a decision today to value the opinions of the brethren and walk with them for the sake of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This generation needs help but we will never be able to solve the problems if we are not willing to sacrifice our lives in faith and unity of purpose. The time to repent is now. Stop disunity before it quenches the fire in you.
Declare with me: The devil will not succeed through me. I am God’s own and will continue to operate in faith, love and unity amongst brethren. Through the grace of God, we shall pull down the stronghold of the enemies and many souls shall be added to the kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen
