STRENGTHENED WITH JOY
The Bible in Nehemiah 8:10 declares that the joy of the Lord is your strength. Happiness is common but only God can produce joy for you and within you. This will be lasting and eternal. The reign of happiness is temporal and you will need the reoccurrence of events on a daily basis to stay happy while joy flows through your veins by the Spirit of the Lord despite all situations and circumstances of life.
Zephaniah 3:17 KJV
The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.
Joy springs from God’s love, which is not dependent on circumstances nor on our performance. When we realize just how great his love for us really is, we are far less vulnerable to the depression and despair that come from problems and disappointments.
You will not know sorrow. The Lord will keep you rejoicing all the days of your life and you will be far from depression in Jesus name.
