TRYING TO PLEASE EVERYBODY?
One terrible mistake people make is trying to please everybody they meet or work with. You will be doing yourself a huge disfavor thinking all your steps and actions will receive the intended approvals.
Apostles Paul in Galatians 1:10 said: For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
Whether you like it or not, people will form their opinions of your actions and deeds. Most times they conclude about you on the basis of first impressions.
Whose approval are you seeking—others’ or God’s? Pray for the courage to seek God’s approval above anyone else’s. If you are on God’s side, he makes everything happen for His own glory according to His purpose for your life.
Focus on the Lord and walk blamelessly in his sight. All will work out in your favor in Jesus name.
