SERVING WHOLEHEARTEDLY

Your heart is the seat of every divine operation you are expected to carry out for the Lord and His people here on earth. If your heart is right with God and free from earthly encumbrances and vain pursuits, you will make the most of your life and be dutifully engaged in God’s assignment.
While some engage in eye service—working only to be seen and praised—you are created to love and serve God genuinely from your heart, thereby becoming a blessing to His people.
“See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah: And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship.” — Exodus 31:2–3 KJV
Bezaleel was a man chosen by the Lord for a great assignment. He was specially gifted and anointed with wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and skill to carry out the beautiful works required for the tabernacle. He put his heart into the assignment and faithfully used his God-given abilities for divine purpose.
You do not need to leave your job or profession in order to serve God wholeheartedly. You can serve Him faithfully wherever He has placed you. At work, in business, in ministry, and in your daily relationships, you can glorify God by applying kingdom principles and using your gifts faithfully.
God wants you to rid your heart of anything that will hinder His Spirit from working through you. When your heart is willing and you serve Him joyfully without murmuring or complaining, He will empower you with the wisdom and grace required to fulfill your assignment.
Serve God with your whole heart. Give Him your gifts, your strength, your time, and your best. A heart completely yielded to God will never be wasted in His hands.
Prayer: Father, purify my heart and help me to serve You wholeheartedly. Fill me with Your Spirit, wisdom, understanding, and grace to fulfill every assignment You have committed into my hands. May my life and gifts continually bring glory to Your name, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
