GOD WILL BLESS YOU WITH FAVOR
By Pastor Ayo-Simeon Agbelusi
If you read Psalm 4:6–8, you will discover you don’t have to chase favor from people, seek the face of God. One touch of God’s favor can accomplish what years of human effort cannot. Walk with Him, trust Him, and expect His goodness to follow you. This is your season to enjoy the favor of the Lord.
In Psalm 4:6, the Bible declares:
There be many that say, Who will shew us any good? LORD, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us.
Our world is filled with uncertainty, many people wonder where their next breakthrough, opportunity, or blessing will come from. Like the psalmist, they ask, “Who will show us any good?” But as a child of God, your case is different because your confidence is in the Omnipotent God. Our hope is not in man, but in the Lord whose favor opens doors that no one can shut.
The light of God’s countenance represents His favor, acceptance, and divine approval. When God’s favor rests upon your life, ordinary efforts produce extraordinary results. His favor distinguishes you, grants you access where others are denied, and causes His goodness to speak on your behalf.
God’s favor is not earned by human merit; it is a gift that flows from a life surrendered to Him. As you walk in obedience, seek His presence, and trust His promises, His favor surrounds you like a shield. Even in difficult seasons, His hand will preserve you and cause all things to work together for your good.
Today, refuse to be discouraged by what you see around you. Lift up your eyes to the Lord. The same God who showed kindness to Noah, favor to Joseph, and grace to Esther is still working on behalf of His children. His favor will locate you and announce His goodness in your life.
Prayer: Father, let the light of Your countenance shine upon me. Surround me with Your favor and cause Your goodness to speak in every area of my life.
