WALKING IN THE FEAR OF THE LORD

The Christian journey starts with faith in God and reverential fear for Him. The fear of the Lord is not about being terrified of God; it is about reverencing Him, honoring His words, and living in obedience to His will. It is the foundation upon which a strong and fruitful Christian life is built.

The Bible states it clearly in Proverbs 9:10:

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

Many people seek wisdom, success, and direction, but true wisdom begins when we acknowledge God’s authority over our lives. The believer who fears the Lord learns to depend on Him rather than leaning on human understanding. You are too limited to assume the responsibility of guiding your own life to safe landing. Your journey is as easy as the one who leads it.

Walking in the fear of the Lord helps us make godly decisions, avoid destructive paths, and maintain a close relationship with God. It keeps our hearts humble and teachable before Him. As we honor God, He reveals His secrets and directs our steps according to His purpose.

I want you to remember, any life surrendered to God will never lack divine direction. Therefore, choose to walk in reverence before God. Let His Word shape your thoughts, guide your actions, and influence your decisions.

Prayer: Father, help me to walk in holy reverence before You. Teach me Your ways, guide my steps, and grant me wisdom to live according to Your will in Jesus’ name, Amen.
