HELD BY THE HAND OF GOD
By Pastor Ayo-Simeon Agbelusi
Most of the things you fear will never happen and don’t exist. You were redeemed to live by faith in God and also to put your trust in Him. Our God does not minimize fear; He meets it with His presence. When the Lord says, “Fear not,” He follows it with a reason—“for I am with thee.” The strength God promises is not distant or delayed; it is personal and sustaining. He does not merely give encouragement from afar; He upholds His people with His own righteous hand.
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” — Isaiah 41:10 (KJV)
There are moments when life feels heavier than our strength can bear. In those moments, God does not ask us to pretend we are fine. He asks us to trust that He is near. The same hand that shaped creation is holding you steady today. You may feel weak, but you are not unsupported. God’s grip is firm, faithful, and full of grace.
Prayer:
Gracious Father, thank You for being with me when fear tries to rise. Strengthen me where I feel weak and steady me when I feel uncertain. I trust that Your righteous hand is holding me today and will not let me fall. In Jesus’ name, amen.
