WAKE UP TO YOUR SPIRITUAL RESPONSIBILITIES
By Pastor Ayo-Simeon Agbelusi
God will not do for you what He expects you to handle by yourself. God has a word for you per time and the word discovered is the fuel for your effective prayer life. You won’t be able to do very well in your prayer time if your word base is weak.
In Jeremiah 33:3 God says; call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
Don’t ignore the place of prayer. There’s no substitute for direct communication with God. Jesus engaged in ceaseless prayers all through His lifetime. He separated Himself all through the night to discover the divine counsel for the hour and to gain more strength and anointing for the ministry. Little wonder He was successful all through His ministry.
Ask God for the impossible. Don’t keep quiet. Speak out and let your creator be aware that you need urgent help. Don’t allow assumptions to deceive you into believing that God is seeing your pains. He prefers that you call Him in your time of need. This is the hour of need. Approach His throne with heartfelt prayers coupled with fasting and I know very soon, you will come forth to share your testimonies in the congregation of His people.
Reflections: Don’t miss your portion in the remaining part of this year all in the name of spiritual laziness. Wake up and ask God to intervene in your case and over your issues.
