PLANNING OR WORRYING?

By Pastor Ayo-Simeon Agbelusi

Time devoted to planning for tomorrow is time well spent; time devoted to worrying about tomorrow is time wasted. Without adequate planning, you will achieve nothing meaningful to your existence. Planning they say is winning. Remember, one of your greatest assets in life is time. What you do with your time explains what will happen to your life. Don’t spend your life worrying about life, redirect that energy to seeking direction and wise counsel.

Jesus said in Matthew 6:34, “Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”

Be careful never to join those who choose to waste time. Your life is precious, and if you’ve discovered your purpose according to God’s will, you’ll stop worrying and start using your time wisely through adequate planning. Your future is great and shouldn’t cause anxiety. Meditate on God’s Word to get a better framework for your destiny.

Stop worrying about life, and instead, expose your life to the Spirit of God for direction. You’ll be settled in all areas of life.

Prayer: Father, help me stay strong and avoid everything that wastes my time on earth. Open my eyes to the right path to follow in Jesus’ name.
