PURGING REQUIRED

By Pastor Ayo-Simeon Agbelusi

Our God is holy and utterly righteous, residing in the light without any darkness. His operations are just and pure, demanding that anyone who associates with Him undergo extensive training in righteousness and be prepared to function in holiness.

If a man purges himself from these, he becomes a vessel of honor, sanctified, and suitable for the master’s use, ready for every good work. (2 Timothy 2:21, KJV)

The Lord will not reject a cleansed vessel. Remarkably, the scripture above places the responsibility of purging on us. We must separate ourselves from every obstacle that hinders God’s operation. The assignment of the kingdom necessitates truthfulness, sincerity, and integrity; lacking these, setbacks will inevitably occur. I encourage you to examine every aspect of your life and create space for the Lord by adhering to His guidelines for kingdom citizenship. May you be worthy of His noble calls in Jesus’ name.

Pray with me: Father, I renounce every work of darkness and repent of every action that has separated me from your grace and holiness. I receive grace to walk worthy of your call in Jesus’ name. No power of sin and iniquity will ever dominate my existence again in Jesus’ mighty name.
