DEVOTION TO LOVE AND FELLOWSHIP
By Pastor Ayo-Simeon Agbelusi
One of the undeniable virtues of the Christian faith is love—love for God, love for His people, and a sincere devotion to fellowship. These are not qualities that can be hidden. When you are truly rooted in Christ, your love will naturally be expressed in your actions, relationships, and commitment to the Body of Christ.
God’s love is universal, reaching out to all who are willing to receive Him. As recipients of this love, we are called not only to embrace it but also to reflect it in our daily walk.
The Bible declares in Acts 2:42 (NLT):
“All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer.”
Transformation becomes evident when you deliberately choose the path of righteousness and align yourself with the truth of God’s Word. This alignment is strengthened through sound teaching and consistent fellowship with other believers.
The early church demonstrated a powerful example—they did not isolate themselves but remained united, sharing life together with joy and purpose. Their devotion created an atmosphere of love, unity, and supernatural growth.
In this present age, many are drifting away from fellowship, but you must rise above that trend. Refuse isolation. Commit yourself to God’s family. As you grow in love and remain connected to the brethren, you will experience spiritual strength, maturity, and divine increase.
Through genuine fellowship, the Body of Christ is strengthened, unity is preserved, and many more souls are drawn into the Kingdom.
Prayer: Father, separate me completely from the spirit of this world and establish me firmly in Your love. Help me to remain devoted to fellowship with the brethren. Make me a vessel of love, unity, and blessing within Your Body on the earth. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
