CALLED TO WALK WORTHY

Every true believer in Christ Jesus is called of God. The first and most important call upon your life is your call from darkness to His marvelous light. This is the general call that separated every follower of Christ Jesus from the world and also established us in the Kingdom of our God.
Apostle Paul declares:
As ye know how we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father doth his children, That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory. 1 Thessalonians 2:11-12 KJV
To be called by God is both a privilege and a responsibility. The Apostle Paul reminded the believers in Thessalonica that their lives were to reflect the One who had summoned them into His kingdom. Salvation is not merely a moment of decision; it is the beginning of a daily walk.
To walk worthy means to live in a manner that reflects gratitude for His grace. Our speech, our conduct, our private thoughts, and public actions all become expressions of the transforming work of Christ within us.
Every step today is an opportunity to mirror the character of Jesus. In moments of tension, choose patience. In moments of opportunity, choose obedience. In moments of difficulty, choose faith. You have been called into His kingdom and glory—walk in a way that honors the Caller.
Prayer: Father, thank You for calling me into Your kingdom and glory. Help me to walk worthy of that calling today. Shape my attitudes, guard my words, and guide my steps so that my life reflects Your grace in Jesus’ name, Amen.
