DRAW NEAR TO THE THRONE OF GRACE

The Bible says: Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16. The grace of God is not an option; it is a necessity for a successful and fulfilling life. Divine help is required to arrive at our desired destinations—in life, career, ministry, and ultimately, to finish well. Such help does not come by human effort alone; it is granted by the Lord.
As we proceed this year, I encourage you to desire God’s grace above every other request. Here is the charge: draw closer to God and run far away from anything that separates you from His grace and mercy. Intimacy with God is the pathway to divine assistance.
The Bible declares,
“A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.” — Proverbs 16:9 (KJV)
You need divine direction to avoid arriving at the wrong destination. No matter how great or achievable your plans may appear, do not proceed without God’s help. His grace empowers, preserves, and delivers us from fruitless struggles. Grace makes the difference.
Therefore, approach His throne through faith so you may obtain direction, strength, and clarity for the journey ahead. Do not move forward without His instructions. Allow the Lord to guide your steps into the new year, and He will surely show up at every point of your need.
By His grace, you are preserved from all evil, strengthened through faith in His Word, and positioned for divine help in Jesus’ mighty name.
Prayer: Father, I need Your grace and mercy. In this new year, let Your grace be sufficient for me. Meet me at every point of need and order my steps according to Your will, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
