OPEN THE DOOR OF YOUR HEART

By Pastor Ayo-Simeon Agbelusi

There is a door to your heart—an entrance that determines what comes into your life. You either keep it open or closed. When it is open to the wrong influences, anything can enter to control, corrupt, or confuse. But when it is rightly guarded, no unwanted force can gain access. Above all, your heart must be open to God. If you shut it against His word, His warnings, and His fellowship, you deny yourself His help, His blessings, and His eternal presence.

Our Lord Jesus says: “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Revelation 3:20 (KJV)

Jesus desires fellowship with you. He knocks—He does not force entry. He awaits your invitation to fill your life with guidance, peace, and divine presence. There is no greater visitation than the divine. When the Lord comes in, everything changes—burdens lift, darkness flees, and grace flows.

But if your heart is cluttered with sin, guilt, bitterness, or unbelief, you must first allow the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus to prepare it as His dwelling place. Let nothing become an impediment that keeps the Lord outside. A pure heart is God’s chosen home.

With Jesus residing in your heart, you will walk in peace, strength, and unshakeable assurance. Worry and sorrow lose their grip when Christ reigns within.

Prayer: Father, please come into my heart. Take over my life completely. Let there be a daily and unending fellowship between me and Your Holy Spirit. Let Your power and love be fully manifest in my life, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

  1. Good morning pastor Ayo, you always remember me a daily bread of blessings.
May God increase your strength and bless your ministry in Jesus name.
Revelation 3:20, which says, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with me”. This means you must verbally invite Jesus in through prayer and actively choose to believe in Him, making Him the center of your life.
John 1:12, “But to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God”. I pray that the Lord will help us in Jesus name.Amen.
