DWELLING IN SAFETY AND PEACE

By Pastor Ayo-Simeon Agbelusi

The troubles of our world are multiplying daily. Nations are in unrest, hearts are heavy, and many are drowning in fear, pain, and uncertainty. Yet, these are not the end—they are signs of the times, just as Jesus warned in the Gospels, especially in Matthew 24. In such a perilous age, safety is not found in systems, governments, or personal strength, but in obedience to divine instruction.

Scripture assures us:

“But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.” Proverbs 1:33 (KJV)

True peace and security are found only in the Prince of Peace. For individuals, families, and nations, the embrace of God remains the only refuge. Our world has ignored His counsel for too long, resulting in pain, regret, and confusion. It is time to return—listening carefully and obeying wholeheartedly.

When we align with His will, He fulfils His promises, shielding us from the evils threatening this generation. Safety is not the absence of danger—it is the presence of God.

Reflections: Have you surrendered your life completely to the Lord? Are you living in obedience to His Word? Choose today to reconnect with Him, and you will find rest beyond your troubles and a dwelling place in perfect safety.
