SATAN IS A DEFEATED FOE
By Pastor Ayo-Simeon Agbelusi
Your arch enemy-the devil may roar, but he is not in control. The devil is judged a failure and condemned to eternal damnation in the lake of fire. Through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, Satan was stripped of his power and authority. He no longer has legal ground to dominate the believers in Jesus Christ. The cross is not just a symbol of suffering—it is the eternal proof that the devil has been judged and defeated.
And having spoiled principalities and powers, He made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.” Colossians 2:15 (KJV)
He’s the accuser of the brethren was cast down, and his works were destroyed (1 John 3:8). This means every scheme, lie, and intimidation from the devil is powerless against those who are rooted in Christ. Your position as a child of God is not one of fear but of victory, because we are seated with Christ far above principalities and powers
It’s time you begin to walk in authority. Don’t give Satan room through fear, ignorance, or compromise. Stand boldly in your inheritance. Confess victory daily by reminding yourself and the enemy that Christ’s victory is your victory. Finally, refuse to be intimidated. When the enemy whispers lies, answer with God’s Word. Jesus did it in the wilderness, and so must we. No devil will succeed over you in Jesus’s name.
Prayer: Father, thank You for the victory won through the blood of Jesus. I declare that Satan is a defeated foe in my life, family and ministry. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. I walk in the authority of Christ and enforce victory over every area of my destiny in Jesus’ name, Amen.
