DON’T ENVY THE WICKED

The Lord is the portion of our inheritance, and He has prepared a great place for us—even after this world. We have no confidence in wickedness and no interest in their fading prosperity. There will never be any gain in wickedness, and the end of every unrepentant sinner is eternal destruction in the lake of fire. Your trust should be in God; be determined to look away from every development in the house of the wicked. They will soon be put to shame according to their evil deeds.
The Bible declares in Proverbs 24:19-20:
“Fret not thyself because of evil men, neither be thou envious at the wicked; For there shall be no reward to the evil man; the candle of the wicked shall be put out.”
You are encouraged to look unto Jesus, who is the author and finisher of your faith. Your time is in His hands, and He will make everything concerning you beautiful to the glory of His name. Walk in the footsteps of Jesus, and let His words direct your path. You’ve been called to righteousness, and that’s where the eternal gain lies. Every trace of wickedness around you will soon vanish away, but those who truly know their God will be strong and do exploits.
May you never be deceived by the prosperity of sinners in Jesus’ name.
Prayer: Father, my eyes are on You. Answer me according to Your tender mercy, and never allow the enemy to ask, “Where is my God?” I will rejoice in You all the days of my life. Amen.
