SIMPLY SURRENDER

Many great battles in history ended with surrender. One side realizes how powerless they were against the opposition and thereby raises the white flag. It’s expected that we let our ego bow to the power of God in our quest to overcome the power and pressure of sin.

In Romans 6:14, the Bible declares, “For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.”

Surrender to God comes when you realize how powerless you are to defeat sin and satanic manipulations. You won’t need to fight some battles again; simply allow God to take them over and grant you eternal victory and freedom. We can’t experience true freedom until we yield our lives to God and allow the Holy Spirit to help us subdue the opposing force of sin and unrighteousness.

Reflection: How do you try to make things work, only to find yourself continually failing? It’s time to allow God to help through total surrender and submission to His perfect will.
