FERVENT LOVE AMONGST YOURSELVES

The mark of true fellowship is love. If love is out of the equation, everything done at any given moment is just a mirage of Christian reality. We are called to love and we must live in love if we want others to embrace the gospel we profess.
In 1 Peter 4:8 KJV, it is written, “And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.”
Fervent love is more than just a feeling; it’s a choice to prioritize others’ well-being and demonstrate God’s love. When we exhibit fervent love, we reflect God’s character, build strong relationships and also overlooks faults and offenses, promoting forgiveness and reconciliation. Our daily objective must be to live in perfect love amongst ourselves.
Pray with me: Father, fill my heart with fervent love for others. Help me to prioritize love, kindness, and compassion, reflecting Your character and building strong relationships. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
