TRUST GOD TO FIGHT YOUR BATTLES
Pastor Ayo-Simeon Agbelusi
Life’s battles are inevitable, but they don’t define our worth or God’s love. Sometimes, we face battles not because we’re doing something wrong, but because we’re doing something right.
In 2 Chronicles 20:12, King Jehoshaphat prayed, “O our God, will you not judge them? For we have no might against this great company that comes against us; neither do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon you.”
In times of battle, prayer is our best response. When we yield everything to God in prayer, we acknowledge our limitations and His sovereignty. Pride often prevents us from praying, leading to devastating consequences. Instead, report your enemies to God, and He will intervene, turning them against themselves, and you’ll emerge victorious.
Your faith in God will surely lead to victory if you never doubt. Jehoshaphat’s story shows us that God can smite our enemies in one day (2 Chronicles 20:22-25). Turn your battles over to God, and He will grant you victory. Look to Jesus, and He will intervene in your finances, marriage, health, and career.
Prayer: Father, without You, I can do nothing. Don’t let my enemies rejoice over me. Deliver me from every battle confronting my destiny, and grant me total victory and all-round peace in Jesus’ name.
