THE NEEDED SUPPORT SYSTEM

Loneliness is never a good thing. May you always be surrounded by the right people who will support and uplift you in life’s challenges. In 2 Samuel 21, we see Abishai, a mighty man of David, coming to his aid in a critical moment, striking down the Philistine who threatened David’s life. This act of bravery not only saved David but also earned him a promise from his men:
“You shall go no more out with us to battle, that you quench not the light of Israel.” 2 Samuel 21:17B
David’s life shows you the power of having a strong support system. He was a leader who attracted mighty men of war, as recorded in 1 Chronicles 12. These men were there to support him in every point of need. When David was fainting and exhausted in battle, one of his men rose to destroy the Philistine who would have killed him.
You need the right people around you, not just anyone. Your network truly determines your net worth. Today, pray that your most needed support system will gravitate towards you, helping you fulfill your destiny.
Prayer: Father, don’t let me go through this journey alone. Deliver me from physical, financial, spiritual, and emotional burnout. Surround me with great people who will be there to help me at every point of need, in Jesus’ name.
