DO NOT RESIST THE WILL OF GOD

There’s no better plan for you than the thoughts and arrangements of the Almighty. He said in Jeremiah 29:11 that he’s thinking good thoughts about you to bring you to an expected end. You can’t get a better plan no matter how hard you try. The trust you put in God and faith in His word is your token for total and eternal liberation from all life’s troubles and struggles.

God says: For forty years I was angry with them, and I said, ‘They are a people whose hearts turn away from me. They refuse to do what I tell them.’ Psalm 95:10 NLT

It’s lack of wisdom and hardening of heart that causes people to disregard the will of God. Rejecting His will does not happen all at once; it builds upon a series of mundane choices that we consider above divine arrangements. If you resist God long enough, he may toss you aside like hardened bread, useless and worthless like he did the children of Israel after several warnings. Carefully search out the counsel of God, let his Word guide your decisions and stop being full of yourself. Above all, receive grace to embrace his will all through the days of your life.

Prayer: Father, help me to discover and embrace your divine counsel for my life. Deliver me from wrong choices and fruitless options in Jesus’ name.
